Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Contracts Manager to join a dynamic construction team working on multi-storied building projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with strong contractual, technical, and project management expertise.

Position: Contracts Manager-Civil Engineer

Location: Zambia

Minimum Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Quantity Surveying.
• Fully paid-up member for 2026 of any of the following professional bodies:
• Engineering Institution of Zambia with a valid practising licence from the Engineers’ Registration Board of Zambia
• Zambia Institute of Architects (ZIA)
• Zambia Institute of Quantity Surveyors (ZIQS)

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of ten (10) years’ overall professional experience.
• At least eight (8) years’ proven experience in multi-storied building construction projects.
• Demonstrated experience in contract administration, project coordination, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee contract administration and ensure compliance with project specifications and contractual obligations.
• Manage project budgets, variations, claims, and cost control processes.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure project milestones are met.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership throughout project execution.
• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and review contractual documentation and reports.
