ICT – Network Engineer
Main Duties
1. Installation and configuration of Cisco Switches and other critical components
2. Management of VLANs
3. Ensure Network Security
4. Monitor and manage internet bandwidth (Speed and outages)
5. Fibre installation and management (both IT and security infrastructures)
6. Management Both Physical and Software Firewalls
7. Monitoring the firewalls for any sign of attempted bleach and mitigate in timely manner
Other Duties
1. Management of user and devices in the active directory
2. Perform day to day backup in various backup medias
3. Windows and other application are updates
4. Test Backups for recovery
5. Develop Applications to reduce paper and automate routine jobs.
Qualifications
1. Degree in IT, Computer Science or Other related field
2. Certificate in CISCO Networking is a must
3. Programming and application development will be an added advantage
Skills and Competencies
4. Team player
5. Ability to work with minimal supervision
6. Ability to execute duties with accuracy to avoid errors
7. Effective communicator
8. Ability to work under pressure
9. Willing to work long hours where necessary
10. Ability to follow instructions
