REPORTING TO: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

JOB PURPOSE:

Implementing Business Development and Marketing strategies and the successful execution and
management thereof. This is required to ensure sustainable and continuous growth of ZCAS
University.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assists in preparation of the marketing and communications strategies in line with the
   strategic plan;
2. Conducts competitor and market trend analysis;
3. Increases student enrollment;
4. Develops revenue growth initiatives/streams;
5. Develops feedback mechanisms;
6. Builds strategic partnerships and relationships with various stakeholders;
7. Strengthens internal brand engagement and commitment;
8. Assists in preparing and managing the marketing budget;
9. Increases the University’s digital footprint;
10. Develops and manages a database of key contacts; and
11. Implements stakeholders’ project proposals so as to increase revenue and visibility for the
    University.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

1. Grade 12 School Certificate or its equivalent with at least five credits including English and
   Mathematics.
2. An earned Professional Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing.
3. An earned Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management or similar
   will be an added advantage.
4. Member of the Zambia Institute of Marketing.
5. Clean Driving License.
6. At least three (3) years’ marketing experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS

1. Marketing operations implementation skills.
2. Ability to manage digital platforms.
3. Excellent writing and presentation skills.
4. Excellent ICT skills.

1. Honest and reliable with high moral strength.
2. High degree of attention to detail.
3. High degree of integrity.
4. Ability to work with minimum supervision.
