Job Description

A Brewery Technician plays a critical role in the beer production process, overseeing equipment operation, performing maintenance tasks, and ensuring product quality. With responsibilities ranging from brewing techniques to safety protocols, they ensure smooth operations within a brewery.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain brewery equipment, including tanks, pumps, and pipelines
• Monitor and adjust brewing process parameters, such as temperature, pressure, and pH levels
• Clean and sanitize all brewing equipment and production areas to ensure high-quality beer production
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on brewing equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime
• Collaborate with other brewery staff to develop new recipes and improve existing ones
• Conduct quality control tests on beer samples, including taste, aroma, and alcohol content
• Document all brewing processes and maintain accurate records for quality control and regulatory compliance
• Assist in packaging and labeling of finished beer products for distribution to customers

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of brewing equipment and processes
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and maintain equipment
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
• Good communication skills to work effectively with team members
• Attention to detail to ensure quality control of beer production
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and maintain accurate records
• Flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor as needed.
